    I have an Asus UX21e

    How can I map volume up/down from being FN+F11 / FN+F12,
    to just F11 / F12

    Like on a MAC.

    what software can do this easily

    There are third party utilities for remapping but who knows whether they will do what you're seeking to do.

    Asus also has hotkey/ATKACPI utilities; have you downloaded the latest?

    yeah someone else asked same question and got nowhere cause the discussion went pointless..

    I've installed asus driver already but that just enables the media keys, theres no remapping tool.

    Need a 3rd party application to do this just having trouble finding one
