I am stuck between the two to purchase. I have read that the A8 has leakage and horrible view angles....is the g1 the same or is it better?

Please advise since it took me almost a month to narrow down to the two.

    thanks

The g1 has one of the nicest screens that are no IPS, pretty much no light leakage and above average viewing angles. Read the reviews for screenshots.

g1 screen is a lot better.
I would say if you ignore the view angle the a8js is similar because its very sharp. But the g1 screen is also sharper.
It is better. Its about the best screen thats not on a special machine like the toshiba qosmio or sony ar

If screen is a big concern, just forget you ever heard of 14.1 inch notebooks, including the A8 series.

I own an A8jp, and fortunately I'm working on an external monitor for the most part. The Screen on the A8jp is the worst screen you will see in your life, guaranteed.
