    Hello everyone,

Today something went terribly wrong and I've decided to reinstall Vista on my G50V-A1. When I popped in the first Recovery CD that came with the laptop, nothing happened. Searching on the internet tells me to restart with the CD in, and a screen should come up giving me the option to press F8 or something, but I never get that sort of thing, it just goes straight to Vista.

Can anyone help me? Hopefully it's something simple, since I feel stupid already :p

    Thanks

Press ESC when you see Asus splash screen. Select "Boot from the disc". Choose one of the options to recover(whole hdd, 1 partition, 2 partitions) :)
