I sent my G50VT-X6 in on Monday and they received it the next day. When should I expect it to return to me?

It depends on what needs to be fixed/replaced. Given that all the parts are in stock at their service facility, they'll usually have it fixed within 1-2 business days.

i sent a few hundred notebooks to them for repair over the last few years. the other few hundred we fix our selves. I like to avoid their service because i can never get the ed return labels processed the first time. I always have to call back. other then that if it is a popular model i ve never had to wait for more then a few days for repair and it is overnight both ways

What are ED return labels? Also, are you from Canada or USA?

I need your help. I have send my brand-new G50Vt-X3 to ASUS. It has a defective Blu-ray drive (DOA). ASUS received it on 23/3/2009. And till now, its status is still "repairing". I don't know how long I will have to wait. I really want to complaint to ASUS but there's no ASUS email address, just telephone. And when I phoned them to ask about my G50Vt, I have to wait for more than 10 minutes with no answer until I dropped the phone.

It's only been a week. Phone call isn't really excusable, but then again, ASUS is a pretty big company, they've got a lot of people with questions, and others with issues.

In my case, it took 10 days the first time and 14 days the second time (dead LCD).

I got a e-mail today saying the laptop is shipped out with the FEDEX tracking number (but no status yet...) today which means it should be here tomorrow.
I am very please with the Canada service so far. They were very polite unlike some other companies and the free 2-way air shipping is extremely fast. Shipped out Monday and getting it back the same Friday. I am just praying that this one has no bright pixels.

The Canadian service is very, very good... I sent mine in for a motherboard replacement too and they did that in less than a week (including shipping both ways!).

I really don't understand the status "repairing", why don't they stated it as "waiting"? More than one week to just reseat or replace a blu-ray drive.

My G50Vt-X3 was RMAed in USA. They sent RMA label very quickly. And they received it fast. But then everything stalled.

I got my laptop back today. Good news is that it has no stuck pixels however there is a slight light leakage on the LCD but isn't noticeable. They never had to send me the RMA label.

I'm tired of waiting. Can anyone give me information to contact ASUS? I can't find their email. I'm not in USA, so that I can't phone them. My brother has his work to do, I can't request him to ask ASUS. He also said that he had problems in contacting ASUS, no one answer the phone.
