    I have been a Thinkpad owner, but now think it is overkill for my medium-term needs, so I am looking at other brands. While at a BestBuy, I looked at the Asus UL50. I liked it (especially how long it can run on a battery). The formal review on this side is so-so, but there were no user reviews, which I generally find to be more reliable (at least the % thumbs up or down). Can anyone give me their impressions of this notebook and/or Asus generally?
