So I've had my W7J for about a month and a half now. I'm playing a 3-D MMORPG and the temperature in the first month went up to about 75C. Now it goes up sometimes to 80-81C. What are you guys getting? is 80-81 too high? it seems REALLY REALLY high to me, and im scared to play the games, but i mean... the geforce 7400 should definitely be able to handle this game.

what kind of temps do you guys get? thanks!

Those are very normal temps. They can only go up a few degrees if you use it on an unflat surface. Theres nothing wrong with your w7j

I have never seen my temps that high, even after hours of gaming. Of course, I have the CPU undervolted via RMClock. My peak temps are about 60c. When it was super hot in the summer I would see 65c, but never higher.

Monk i ve seen you say the same numerous times before. Do you intentionally try to make people worried.? Please please keep this in mind and i know i ve told you before. You are undervolting your temps will be 10-20% lower then the rest. The original poster is not undervolting which means his temps will and should reach temps around 80C after prolonged hi-end use. You should explain this to the person above otherwise you are doing him and everyone else a dis-service. To the op. Your temps are exactly where they should be 80C after prolonged gaming is very normal especially so if it is on your lap or bed.

How about using a laptop base cooler when you are gaming?
