    'cause mine can jump up to 56 degrees Celsius.

    It's a Hitachi Travelstar E7K100.

    Yes, that's normal for the G1 series. Typical load temps for the HDD in the G1 series is in the low to mid 50s.

    What about upper 50s lower 60s. It's around 59 right now. I was updating the graphics card drivers, running driver sweeper, restarting a few times because of all that, etc and so forth.
