Speedfan said it was 60c
So I bought this Evercool fit cooler.

Now it stays at 50-51c doing the above task with this cooler installed.

I think your headline question is too vague - too hot is relative to your computer type. And for your specified computer, that's fine. -
Thermal specifications are usually around 100C, but it varies from component to component.

I used to freak out about temps. . then I owned a macnow I only start to worry if something hits triple digits. HOWEVER, if you're overly worried you can always try a cooling pad, a fan across the keyboard, pack it in dry ice, etc
