    How is M50VM-A1 Touchpad?

The 2 buttons on the touch pad, do they make a "tick" sound when you click them?

I currently have a Dell laptop and i really like the 2 buttons on the touchpad as they are quiet a smooth when pressed..

Let me know please as i am buying soon

Yes, most of the newer asus laptops have a sort of loud clicking noise when they are clicked. I dont think it is much of a problem and if it really bothers you you can just plug in the mouse that comes with it.

My experience with the M50's touchpad and buttons has been positive thus far. The pad itself has a lot of cool customization features (media mode, adjustable tap zones) and the buttons are overall pretty quiet. There is a barely audible 'click', which obviously gets louder if you press them aggressively (but it's never louder than a typical mouse). Under normal use, I hardly hear a thing, not even the cooling fan. It's a very quiet laptop.
