I saw that this laptop was released earlier last month... For those who have it? How is it? Does it overheat a lot? Do games run good ( Do they stutter?)

I'm not really looking to play FPS, but I'm looking to play a game called 'Aion' which comes out in September. Anyone have any experiences trying the beta out on this laptop?

My main concern is the overheating... what temperatures does it idle when browsing the internet? What temperature does it idle when playing the game? Does it make a lot of fan noise?

Last but not least, is it a real thick laptop? I owned a Dell XPS M1730 in the past, and it was real thick... is this laptop at least decent in the thickness?

    Thanks!

Read the Sunnys review of the G51, its just the BestBuy version, not the A1.

As to the overheating (as many people still are not sure). It does NOT overheat, it just runs hot when playing demanding games - Crysis for instance. This laptop was designed like that, and ASUS knwos that it reaches slightly higher ~ above 80's for GPU. Just get a decent cooler, it should help.
    My CPU idles ~45C
    GPU idles ~49C

PS: Use the forum search/ read the pages, ur questions have been answered on this forum many times byt other users.
