    ^^^^^^^^^^^^

Just want to know how well it records and if you can record lectures with it in class. Anybody tried tilting the webcam + using the microphone to record lectures?

If so, how well does it record sound + video? If you haven't used it for that purpose let me know your impressions of botht he internal sound record + webcam.

    Thanks!

    :)

I don't have my w7j anymore, but it was one of the better webcams out there, I found it better than some of the newer 2.0mp cams many current models use now.

Well, using the laptop in my signature, the microphone doesn't really work well for lectures unless you turn the gain WAYYY up. Then again, I sit close to the back during lectures. If I sat closer to the front, it'd probably not be a problem. And the video on mine is a joke (VGA, barf), so it's pretty much useless.

Mine is fantastic. I have the G2S, and I find what I have sufficient. It should be fine for lectures and whatnot.

I'm trying to get a sense of how good the cam/microphone would be in the new V2S, anybody know? WIll it generally be the same as previous models?

I find the mic good, alot better then I expected.

Though, if you have access to an external mic, it's always recommended :p
