    How long should initial configuration take?

    I got my G73JH in, and I'm excited and ready to start using it, but after charging the battery, I turned it on and got through the Q&A, but now it's been on the "Configuring the system. Please wait..." screen for over an hour and a half. Is this normal, or do I need to do something?

    It shouldnt take an hour, think mine took like 15min or so. I guess press and hold power, and restart it. That's definitely something I havent read about for the G73.

    Hopefully you get it working though.

    Well, I forced it off and restarted it, gave me the "Windows did not shut down properly" screen and then loaded up Windows like normal. Hopefully it didn't cause any problems...anyway, thanks for the help.
