    It has a 2.0 Pentium M
    1gig of ram
    60gig 7200rpm drive

The rest are the normal stuff

    6600go card

Low $200s is a good expectation. Not more than that, probably - it's old tech and far outperformed by $400-500 budget notebooks today.

You might be better off giving it to a relative in need of a reliable notebook for basic needs.

    Edit:
Well, it may depend on who/where you sell it, and what the motivation of the buyer is. I still wouldn't expect much more than 300-400 in most markets, unlikely more than 500 in most cases. The other thing to consider is that the Z70V is the M6 series, which was a fantastic BoA model in it's day that actually got a -Va refresh (unlike the -71, if I recall correctly). The Z71 was the poor cousin with lousy battery problems, screen sparkle, lower build quality (no carbon fiber like the -70, I think). $500-600 for an M6 I can see, but imo not quite realistic for the -71.

interesting... I had a Z70V (not Va) that I purchased in August 2005 with the following specs:

    2.13 Pentium M
    2 GB of ram
    100 GB 7200rpm drive
    ATI x600 graphics card
    1680 x 1024 res

and I sold it for $600 cash two days ago...

you can get 200$ for the video card alone on ebay
and another 200$ for the various other parts like cpu, hdd, lid, keyboard
its worth alot more in parts then as a whole. I wouldnt pay more then 200$ for this knowing that you can get something 2 years newer for 500$ with a more powerfull vga
