    How much power does the Asus 1000HE consume?

    Would a good guess be around 15 watts or would you think less?
    20 watts at max load.

    Also what's the wattage of the power brick?

    I would think it would consume some ~12W at max load, and probably <8W on idle. Netbooks are remarkably energy-efficient.

    I'm not sure what the exact wattage is for the 1000HE, but for the 1008HA, i'm idling at 11W and 13W at max load. I would assume it would be similar to the 1000HE since it's using very similar hardware components.
