I bought a F3sv-X1 a few weeks ago and really love but it could definately use more memory, especially for games. I know that 2GB are usually more than enough, but is that true considering that the videocard can take up to 750mb for vram? My previous notebook had Vista with 2gb of ram and everything ran fine on it, but it only had an Intel integrated videocard. I want to avoid just getting the 2gb and then realizing later that it is not what I expected.
Would there be a significant performance gain/benefit if I get 4gb instead of 2gb? I am currently running Vista Ultimate 64bit.
Thanks in advance.

2 Gb is more than enough. The video card does not actually allocate the 750 MB all at once. It only does it when it needs that memory. So the 2 GB are still free for other appilcations until you start a game that needs more than 256 MB of memory. For 64-bit windows 2 GB should be adequate but the more RAM you have the better.

Thanks a lot for the info.
What configuration should I go with? 2x1gb or 1x2gb, 667 or 800mhz? -

Depending on the price, you can go with either, same goes for the speed.
You won't see much of a difference in performance from 667 to 800mhz.
If you look to future upgrades, you may want to go with 1x2GB stick of ram, so that you can upgrade to 4GB later.
But if yuo got 2x1GB sticks of ram, then you will enable dual channel, and gain a small increase in performance.
How much ram should I put in my F3sv-X1?
