    Ok guys.
I have a N61VN-A1 Asus laptop and the hinge broke. I don't really know how this model is put together but apparently the whole top half of the laptop has to be replaced. I got Asus to waive the labor charge and take about 10% off the rest. So I'm still going to have to pay about $200 if I want to get it fixed.
Does anyone know if it's possible to get that fixed by anyone else or if I could get the part for cheaper somehow or something...? I just don't want to pay $200 if I don't have to.
