    I am planning to sell my A8jm (1.5 year old), in order to buy another desktop replacement laptop. It is working like new, I mainly use it as desktop, perfectly fine, no scratches on the panel. Only with minimal wearing on the keyboard.

    Asus A8jm spec
    * 14" glossy screen
    * CPU: T2400 Core Duo (1.83 GHz)
    * RAM: 1GB
    * HD: 100 GB 5400 RPM
    * GPU: NVidia Go 7600 512Mb dedicated memory
    * OS: Windows XP Home
    * Webcam
    * Recovery CD

    In addition I will include
    * 3-piece Insignia audio system
    * Optical mouse with pad
    * 4 port USB split hub

    Also, I will leave some programs intact if requested
    * Microsoft word
    * Photoshop CS
    * Adobe writer... etc

    The laptop alone is currently selling at Ncix for about $1300

    How much do you think is a reasonable price for that now?

    Seriously? I was expecting at least 700-800, funny I was almost selling it at 1100 around 2 months ago to an interested buyer.

    I would rather keep it if it can only sell for 400-500, I mean, it's more than enough to handle any school or business work, plus it's perfect for some light gaming, plus pretty portable.

    Lost hinge and non-functioning VGA? Come on, the two laptops are nowhere comparable other than sharing the same brand name, I wouldn't pay $50 for a piece of junk like that (obviously the user has been physically abused the laptop). Mine has better CPU, better graphic card, twice the RAM, larger hard drive, and only 1000 times better condition.
