    How to Remove Asus Start Up screen and sound??

    When you turn on the asus g50vt x5 you get that screen that says republic of gamers and plas a sound. how do i disable that so it just shows the bios like if you were to press esc. i dont want th epost sound or the post screen.

    You need to enter the bios (F1 or F2...I forget which) and disable the startup sound and splash screen under the Boot Settings. Save and exit and you're good to go. Then it will just show the usual POST screens....

    there is no option for splash scren only sound volume.

    disable quiet boot or something like that. iirc, it was in the right(er) tabs.

    to disable to sound => enter bios (press f2), go to the Advanced tab and select no for play boot sound.

    to disable the splash screen => enter bios, go to the boot tab, select Boot setting config and disable quiet boot.
