So i had a desk with a 19 lcd and my g50 on it.

went to shower, came back found lcd on top of laptop - which is on the ground.

BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM 15 second silence i didnt know how to react - probably wnated to cry.

So first of all i checked for scratches and thank god though they were many, none actually reached
deep and the black color of the cover is still intacnt, though when light is on it you can see the
hundreds of scratches caused by this.

Now, i turned the laptop on (it was on when this happened, apparently it hibertanted or went to sleep
when the cover was closed due to lcd hitting it)
and check for dead pixels or bizarre things on the screen - check - nothing.

I then looked at temps and checked the overall performance - seemed fine to me.

Now, can anyone give me more things to check? I need to be 100% sure nothing happened to this laptop
after this horrible incident because seriously i cant get my head around the fact that after falling one and a half meter and and lcd on top of you - nothing happens.

Now, you can run "chkdsk.exe" to make sure nothing wrong went with HardDrive.

There are 3rd party programs which I believe go deeper into testing the HD.

HDTune is a good tester and health-checker.
