    How to do a clean install of windows 7?

    So Ive decided to do a clean windows 7 install but the disc that it came with is a recovery disc so all the asus software is still there. At least I think it is. The notebook is a G51J-A1

    Stop the installation when it asks you to insert the driver disk. then install only drivers + w/e utilities you desire from the driver dvd. if your recovery disk does not allow you to do this, well you're only choice would be to buy a fresh copy of win7

    thanks this work I just hard-shutoff the computer after it installed windows and asked me to load the driver disc in booted up and installed only the needed drivers and utilitys from the disc :)
