Since asus doesn't provide full vista installation dvds, how can I dual boot xp on my g1s once I get it? If this has been covered elsewhere, please let me know.

I have to agree the Vista has some problems but it does install a full Vista Premium from the restore DVD so i don't think your should be worried about that.

Use a program like partition magic (or vistas built in disk managment) to shrink the partition the vista install is on.

Create a 2nd partition and install XP on it.

From there repair the vista boot loader and it will find xp automatically and your all done.

Thats the quick version of it.

For the full version, look for the G1S resource thread on this forum. There's a more detailed how-to linked there which includes the device drivers for XP.
