    Hi,

I drop this Kingston-3GB in my C90S, it works but I'm disappointed as FDRAM is not equal to FSB. I wonder why.
    Read with CPUZ : FSB : DRAM = 4 : 3 .
This ram is PC2-5300, in SPD I can see spec for frequency 266MHz and 333MHz.
    My C90S startup at Bus speed = 266MHz, so freq ram = 266 x 4/3 = 200MHz.
I don't understand why DRAM Frequency is not 266 MHz.
Why is it not equal to FSB ?
My previous was also same frequency DDR2-667 = PC2-5300.
But it ran equal to fsb.

What do you think of that ? How can I get Frequency ram = FSB ?

    Thanks

I have made many tests rewriting the SPD this RAM, with SPDTool.
The results dictate to me this conclusion:

If you want RAM synchronized with the Bus_CPU, it is impossible to have a CAS less than 5.

This valid information DDR2-667 4-4-4 is not supported that I just found here : http://www.overclockers.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=3697&catid=59:systemsacomponents&Itemid=4265

So I bought CAS4 RAM for nothing, CAS 5 makes the same job.

I'm sure, if you read CPUZ / Memory, you'll find FSB : DRAM = 1 and CAS#Latency (CL) = 5 or more. Never less.

    Is it ?
