I have a V6J, running vista. I can not get the hot buttons to work to turn on/off bluetooth, or the wireless network. I am forced to go into windows mobility and do it. Any idea what software or a link to get it working?

    Thanks

Hotkeys are principally controlled by Hcontrol.exe. I'm not sure whether there might be a comparable model from the last 18 months that would have a vista compatible hcontrol driver which is back-compatible with the V6 series, or whether Asus even released an hcontrol Vista update for the V6j since (as I recall) it was EOL right before Vista's release. You could check the Asus website for the latter.

Yes, the ASUS did release Vista drivers for the V6J. I believe they are no longer on the FTP server (last time I checked they weren't there) but I have them. Give me your email address (via PM) and I will send the Vista ATK hotkey utility and driver to you.

Please be advised I have never tested these drivers, as I've never installed Vista on this notebook. I downloaded them "just in case".
