well the title pretty much explains it.

Thx to this website and forum, I recently got a A8Js because of how it fitted my situation the best.

However, today I noticed that there were some smudges on the cover of my once clean and shiny "cover" aka the thing thts on the other side of the screen.

I've tried just using a damp towel, not too damp, to wipe it off but it wont.....

any suggestions, so that I dont try using something that would end up screwing up my entire laptop?

    Thanks.

Well, do not use any kitchen or industrial cleaning agents.

What I personally use is the LCD cleaning agent that I buy from a local store. No alcohol, no solvents, anti-static, non-conductive. In other words, totally safe.

If nothing else works, you could try a 50%-50% sanitary alcohol solution in water.

I know, that was what I meant. I use the same solution for the body of the laptop, as well.

If it's a scratch you could try meguiers PlastX, it's in the automotive section at the store. It's got a polish in it that will clear up your plastic right quick. I used it on my palm rest after I accidentally scratched it with the mouse (Set it there for a sec and moved it when I picked it up, there was a scratch)

Think about an automotive contact vinyl sticker for your lcd cover( like carbon fiber look etc)

this is because if youi are worried about smudges, youre going to be real freaked out when the paint starts wearing off and u see its black plastic underneath.

    The paint is extremely temporary.
