    How to keep my new battery's life optimal?

    I just received a new battery from ASUS Holland and haven't used it yet. At least I'll try to avoid getting a battery life of only 50 minutes again.

    What should I do and take into consideration before using it?

    Pls see the V1S Batt Wear thread for my summary on the problem (it's somewhere in the first 5 pages I think).

    Basically since the batt wear problem only kicks in below 30-40% charge, try never to discharge past 30-40%.

    Other than that, there's not much you can do.
