Hey guys, I have been experiencing a few problems with my new Asus F8SN due to some installing of programs and minor tweeking. ( http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=235195 and http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=235306) so I was thinking of doing a reformat. Is this advisable? I just want these problems to go away. I was thinking of just saving my music and movies and documents then reformating everything.
Do I just pop in the Recovery CDs that Asus supplied? What other things should I do just to make sure I dont screw up.

nothing
u ar doing fine, just backup all your data u need like burn it on a dvd or whtever
then put in the recovery cd, restart the laptop
auto boot to recovery cd choose option 1,2,3 then start format -
You can also consider creating an Windows install disc from the recovery disc http://www.howtohaven.com/system/createwindowssetupdisk.shtml. This way you can just repair Windows or just reinstall Windows on a partition and leave your data safely on a different partition.
