Fushi, I have just ordered W3V, and more than heat issue, i am worried about palmrest color change. If you have new palmrest, please tell where you have ordered it from. Please also tell if you have removed stickers on the palmrest or not since some say keeping them can help the palmrest from color change. Any suggestions ?
I should add that i have read posts here that say replacing W3V palmrest is not easy and you may break some internal parts. GoodLuck.

    kamran46,

I order it from Asus Estore

If you leave the sticker on, it will protect the underlying surface from discolouration but if you remove it, that area will looks new compare to the surrounding area.

Yea I'm aware of the risk so I will be as careful as I can be. Thanks

There was a post about this palm rest changing a few months back. It included some photos too if I remember right. Do a search for it :)

Anyone know how to remove the LCD screen? Is it necessary to remove it to replace the palmrest?
