Hi, I just bought a G1S-A1 and I've been trying to find out how to stop the sound it make when you turn the system on (can't have that sound while I'm in the middle of a class). I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could shed some light on my problem.
    Thanks

It should be an option in the BIOS. To get into the BIOS, I think the button is F2 as soon as you see the Asus logo come on after you hit the power.

Also, you can boot the system by pressing the power button of the media keys. It won't show the fiery logo, but a rather colourful one :).

It is F2 to enter BIOS, and the option is called "Play POST sound". Select No or Disable.
