    How to turn off Asus sound on boot

    Hey there,
    I don't know how to turn off the sound that comes up when you boot up your notebook, someone told me to go to the BIOS but I don't know how to change it.

    enter your bios. you'll see the option right in the menu. around that option will also be some sort of option that mentions "volume." the default is 4 i believe. So if you see this option then stay on the same page and look around. It has to be close by.

    It's called "Play POST sound". Select No (Disable).
    To enter BIOS press F2 at the ASUS splashscreen.
