    Where is the ram anyway? Do I just pull out one stick, put in another and boot the computer?

    RAM is in the underside. Just pull one out and put another one in.

    Newegg has the patriot 2GB ram for ~100 that works with the G1S

    I already got a 2gb ocz from fry's for $85...ill tell you if it works.
