    How to use antenna on G50vt?

    On my Asus G50vt-x5 there is some sort of antenna connection on the side of the laptop. Does anyone know how to use it and what its actually for.

    It's a TV antenna port. However the TV tuner is missing, hence you won't be able to use it.

    Thanks for the reply. What's the point of it then? Is it only to improve the signal of a tuner that I have to buy?

    Not exactly. In order for your TV tuner to work, you must have an external antenna. In some countries, the G50 series is sold with a TV tuner and I guess Asus decided it was cheaper to include the port for all G50 series instead of putting a dummy port.
