    Your question is answered in my surgery thread. Sort of. There is nothing to it... take off the bottom covers and unscrew all of the screws and swap out the CPU.

    I just put in a second hard drive in my G60. I noticed the warranty sticker seal near the cpu screw was put on wrong. Half of it isn't even touching it and nothing is over the screw. Looks like I can upgrade the cpu and they won't have a clue.
