Hi guys,
I got the Asus M50VM-A1, it has 1x HDMI and 1x VGA
I am trying to connect it to my older TV that only have RCA input. (red/white/yellow)
I bought this cable from eBay: here
But of course it was too good to be true, it doesn't work. (while using the proper resolution/frequency of course) I read on the net (not too much info about it) that it's not meant for PC to TV.
All I want is to connect my laptop to my old TV, is that possible? I am ready to buy any cable that will do the trick..
Can anyone suggest what exactly do I need?
Many thanks!

component is a different signal from the RGBV (vga/hdmi). you'll probably need a VGA (or DVI) in / Component out converter or box.

Can you recommend a converter?
Many thanks
