    Hi to all,
Some months ago I bought a N56VZ Asus laptop. Immediately I installed Windows 7 as I work with programs that doesn't work under Windows 8. After some days the laptop stopped to work well so I sent back to warranty.
A couple of weeks ago asus gave the laptop back to me and I 'again' tried to install windows 7 for the same reason,
Entering in the bios I can see that I can not change enable/disable the csm. Is not possible to modify the value, seems locked.

I attach an image showing the problem

As you can see is not possible to switch from disabled to enabled.

    How can I unlock it?

    Regards,

    Franco

    Try enabling CSM.
CSM - Compatibility Support Module, to allow legacy OS such as Windows 7 to function.
