    Hi, I am not a notebook expert, I have a Asus z83 since 1,6year

    I recently reformatted but I think there wasn't enough batery/i forgot to plug the adapter ... so while reformating, it shut down. Now i cant open it, its a black screen what can I do ? thanks

    Find an OS CD (XP or Vista, or whatever you like), and boot from it. When it asks you on which partition to install, delete all the partitions and create/format a new one again, then install the OS on it.

    The problem is that I can't boot from it i tried f1 f10 all of it doesnt work how to boot from it ?

    Can you get into the BIOS? Turn on your laptop and press F2 or del or F8. Try them one by one. If you get into the BIOS, go to boot, and select your CD/DVD drive as the first option.
    If you can't get to the BIOS or past the BIOS messages, you'll need to go to customer support.
