I ordered a Dell Inspiron 1520, but after going through their forums and the complaints I read, it clearly is a bad choice. I plan to cancel that order.

I went onto Asus website to find that C90S, but I couldn't see it anywhere, even when I did a product search.

Where can I find it? I live in North America.

I'm sorry to ask again, but where can I order one from?

I searched Gentech and ExcaliburPC but they don't carry them!

One last question, I'm ordering from Gentech..

What happens if I don't choose a ram/hdd/cpu/os? Are there any standards?

get the ram since some (<-edit) people are having ram compatiblity issues and gentech havent had any problems with it.

(BTW ask for Ken since he is on the forums a lot)

everything else is fine if you want to get them anywhere else.

I can't find an option for the video card like you have.. Cancer777.

    Where did you order from?

    Never mind, found it.

    Errr, again asking you Cancer777..

I bought a Dell desktop PC before, and it came with Windows XP Media Center Edition.. can I skip the OS part on the Asus C90 and use my CD instead as a genuine install?

    Thanks!

Bumping for your attention again! I guess you missed the last part of my post (I edited, my fault.)

Can I use the reinstallation CD of Windows XP that I have as my OS for the Aus C90, and make it genuine?

    Thanks!

well technically we are entering a gray area...

legally if you own a copy of XP (the actual retail media) then you may unisnstall from youll dell desktop and install it on the C90 and keep everything legal. you may also keep them installed in both (if you didnt register online with MS) and it will work and most likely be recognized as genuine... but its not legal

if your version is OEM (as with dell most of the time it is) then you probably wont be able to do it since the media si probably full of bloatware especifically for the dell system and wont run in other machines.
