I dropped it a few weeks and it was working fine shortly after. I remember using it to send out an email then closing and opening it a few minutes later and it's not longer working. There's nothing loose.

I purchased off co-worker who has bought it off ebay and I have paypal receipt. But no access to serial# until I can get a hold of orgial owner. So I tried to resister with ASUS, I already registered my ASUS UX31A and now using it as backup.

Any ideas where to go from here? ASUS livechat is no help.

Ouch it seems like you dropped it at the power connector side. There's a chance that the battery might been loose and disconnected from the motherboard of the laptop. We really can't tell how severe the damage is, can the laptop be charged properly? (Be careful, the power jack might been shorten out.)

By using those pictures, it seems like the motherboard were flexed, if you are unable to return it or fix it, you could open the laptop and send us a picture of the inner damage of the laptop.

I would avoid trying to plug it in and getting it repaired. It's a fire risk when in that condition.
