My Z63A spec
Asus Z63A
Intel Pentium 4 M 1.6ghz 533 2MB
1G DDR2 533 RAM
Intel Wireless 2915ABG
Toshiba 40gig 16MB
Asus OEM CDRW/DVD combo
2nd Battery
Main battery time: 5hrs![]()
I am still waiting on my 2nd battery to arrive, but assuming it has 75% of the main battery's capacity, i can should be able to run my Z63A for 8 hours straight for regular office work/chatting/surfing!!!
Probably 4 hours of gaming. I'm EXTREMELY suprise i could run World of Warcraft SMOOTHLY with this onboard chipset!!! I ran Warcraft III the other day, and thinking its probably at the limit... but then my friend told me that his other friend run WOW on a crappy 800mhz comp with a GF2 vid card, so then i install it and it actually run perfect ROFL!!! 1280x720 res too!
:asus: FTW!!!!

Its gotta be your 1gb of ram. 1gb of ram goes a long way so you made a wise decision.
Blizzard games aren't really known for being revolutionary and demanding in graphics so I'm not suprised that integrated has worked well for you. Yes, the games look great and everything is very detailed though. -

Lol, pentium 4 M. No I pretty sure its the pentium M. Does that processor still exist in the laptop world, LoL.
-
Yeah... I'm not even sure if the P4M would work with that mobo
-
Pretty sure he just meant pentium-m, don't think the z63a can handle any other processor.
I can run guildwars great with my setup, the GMA 900 works fine for gaming if its not too intensive. I run it on medium settings, max resolution too. -
well, i am not entirely sure if is p-m or p4-m but on the ebay it was advertised spec as p4-m
it was a p4 mobile 1.6ghz 533mhz /w 2MB L2 buffer -
-
The P4-M and P-M processors are VERY different.
Long live Pentium-M! -
Pentium 4 mobile...not a chance. The 1.6GHz P4M would yield about 2.5 hours max of battery life and be slower than molasses.
And...I mean, "2MB L2 buffer"? I think this seller has a bit of a problem with terminology. You definately have a Pentium-M.
I got my Z63A/W3V, guess what? I can play WOW!
