Also I need to update my DX and video card drivers, I went to the nvidia site and they reffered me to Asus laggy site which I hear don't have the most up to date drivers!

Please use the search, nVidia drivers are found at laptopvideo2go.com.

Also use the search for overclocking advice. Although, why do you want to overclock in the first place?

Edit: actually, my mistake, the links are correct.

"How do I disable the resume function when I close my laptop?"
Edit the power profile of Vista, choose option "Let me choose what my computer should do when I close the lid" or something like that, and choose to do nothing.

I don't know the exact clicks, I've not used Vista in a long while now.
