I saw few things about Windows Vista, there are one thing I notice... When I saw The feature of Windows Vista, I frozen at "Windows SideShow", it put a picture with a small display on laptop's back screen... And I think "Uh, it looks pretty cool, like future laptop... Wait a minute!! IT'S A ASUS LAPTOP!!!"

It's a modified W5, specifically made for Microsoft/Intel by ASUS.

Kinda like the ASUS S5n(I think it was that), for the release of the 'Centrino'.

Hmmm.. if they can display carpets and mails in a small LCD why not in the laptop screen? I'd like to read mails orfind an address without booting windows up too

I guess powering the whole screen would take too much power, and would not be worth it.

Vista isn't out, if they made it now, there would be nothing to take advantage of it(Well, Linux, but Microsoft prolly wants it to be 'theirs')

I would love to buy an Apple as well, however there's a game for which I've been waiting more than 3 years now ( www.potbs.com).

As I am not purchasing another desktop anymore I really need windows.
Apple could have made a fortune by allowing customers using Windows on their computers.

Not sure if you saw this, but it is now possible to run windowsXP on a new intel based mac. Although I have not tried it ...dont have a mac, Im sure that by the end of the year this process will be even easier. Apple has said that although they wont help this process they arent going to actively stop it either.

Yes, I've heard of it, also read the experiences, and it doesn't work properly yet.
I am not going to take the risk (yet).

If the situation changed within 2 months, I might consider it as the W1J will be released then as well.
