    Asus s400 $650 vs Bestbuy XPS 14 $819 (returned)

-Quality. I feel they are even, xps 14 doesn't carry better quality than s400.
    -Materials. I like S400's more than xps14's
-Screen. They are both very bad in color reproduction, but asus has touch feature, asus wins
-Touchpad. s400 touchpad isn't stable at all, when u press it, it will have some click click noise, Dell wins!
-Weight. 4.15 lbs vs 5.2 lbs, easy math. (notebook itself+ac adapter)
-Heat s400 is completely cool when I play LOL, while xps14 will heat up on keyboard, so disappointing.
-Noise s400 has excellent noise management, xps 14? I don't know how to describe how bad it's.
-battery life: s400 offers really bad batter life , like 4 hours, while xps 14 can have about 5.5 hours

Overall, I hate the xps 14 so much because it's noisy and hot!

I don't understand how hard to design a system which is, low emission, comfortable temperature and light weight. Asus make it on a $650 notebook, while dell can't make it on their premium line(not even close)---XPS, What a troll.

The Gorilla corning glass on the Dell is a nice touch, but outside that the specs seem just about identical. Looks like you really did get a better deal on the Asus.
