    Guys, I want to buy a Centrino 2 Duo ASUS notebook here in Europe. Where can i get one, cheap and fast? And most important. Which one should I get? I thought about the W7J but where can i get it?

    I don't know about cheap, but the V1J is surely one of the best Asus notebooks around, and available in Europe! I think they're releasing a Core 2 Duo V1J soon, but I'm not sure if they're only available in North America or what.

    thanks for the info, i will have a look at the V1J, hope its not too expensive



    Ext: I just looked it up, it costs abou 2100€ which is way beyond my budget. I was thinkin about something in the 1200-1600 range. How bout the W7J?

    exxi: What are you gonna be using it for, and are you looking at 13.3, 14 or 15.4" ?

    The W7J hasn't been released in Core2Duo yet, if you want, you prob have to find a reseller who wants to customize it for you and take over the warranty from ASUS. Ditto with W3J...

    Some Core2Duo models that might fit your budget: A8Js, A8Jp, but not sure if it's available where you are... some people have managed to buy it in Spain..
