I'm planning since a time to replace my lenovo x220 and I've found an interesting chance with an ASUS ZenBook UX305 UA-FC050T, as I could buy it for just 300 euro (bought at 02/2017, configured with Intel Core I7-6500U, RAM 8 GB, SSD 512 GB)
Could it be a bargain and a noticeable upgrade respect to my x220 ?

The 6500u is still a dual core CPU, its not a massive upgrade, but the SSD will make a noticiable difference if you were still running an HDD in the x220.
If its for programming, the SSD will help, a lot, but the CPU isn't much more powerfull, userbenchmark puts it at 21% better:
http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i7-6500U-vs-Intel-Core-i5-2520M/m36930vsm29
Passmark scores:
i5-2520m: 3583
i7-6500u: 4433
A quad-core, even an Haswell would be a much greater upgrade, but for 300€, thats a decent deal, depends on what you want to do, like Support.1@XOPTIC questions. -
In such a case which type of CPU could represent an effective upgrade respect the i5 on x220?

Depends a lot on your budget..
If you want to keep the lower budget, an i7-4700mq, or the 4700hq/4710/4720hq will give you near 100% improvement over your current CPU, tons of laptops with those CPU's.
If you want something newer, stay way from the U CPU's, besides 8th Gen, they are all dual cores, be it i3 or i7.Support.2@XOTIC PC and amazing-boy like this. -

The price itself raises some suspicion for the health of the machine. Have you seen it run and function?
-
It was in nearly like new conditions but I've decided to give up... and looking for another option.

I've found another alternative, that could be an interesting upgrade, for roughly 300 euro.

What that I like of it is mainly display quality and battery life... -
CPU is more or less like the ZenBook you saw, its a dual core, but the battery life seems impressive, and the screen with 90% sRGB should be pleasant to use.
-
For that price could be a deal or there are more interesting alternatives ?

TBH, at that price I'm even amazed you are finding such laptops!
Around here, 300€ is what people ask for old clapped out core2duos lol.
The only thing is that you are doing a side-grade on the performance side:
http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i5-5200U-vs-Intel-Core-i5-2520M/m22169vsm29
But you get NVMe ssd, that helps a lot -
In such a case do You consider this laptop could be a good deal, and a real upgrade for me ?
This is the complete conf:
-Cpu intel I5 5300U
Monitor 14" HD
-Ram 4giga DDR3L ( up to 12Gb )
-SSD M2 256Gb ( veramente veloce )
-Wifi,USB 3.0 x 3, bluetooth, backlit ITA keyboard

Price seems almost too good to be true, make sure it's something you can return in case something is wrong with it.

I'm pretty sure about this becase I "know" who the seller is.
But I'd like to have the confirm that it can be considered a bargain for the price, and somewhat comparable to reference business models like Lenovo x270 and so on.
