    Hi everyone i need a help.

    I have Asus X83VM-X1

    My problem is that i need Windows XP because i use some programs that just support that system operative.

    My problem is that i was install XP in hard disk D:/ (my laptop has two partition) i have in C:/ Windows Vista and in D:/ Windows XP..... how i can boot in hard disc D:/

    I was in my desktop two system operative xp and 2003 server and the computer ask me before launch one of then if i want to run in XP or 2003 server... i wan't do that in my laptop or just boot d:/ when i wan't to run xp or boot c:/ when i wan't to run vista.

    Please Help

    you need to press an F-button during the boot process, not quite sure which one. it should say which one to press at some point. if i had to hazard a guess, F12 or F11. at any rate, find out which button you have to press, and then hammer that button during boot to get to a selection menu thingy where you can choose which OS to boot into.

    at least, that's how i think it works :)

    press winkey+pause break, go to advanced options (or something that says advanced), on that window that will pop, go to the advanced tab, search for the place that says boot and recovery (or something like that) and click on config. button, there you can edit the boot loader time and other things too, if you don't know what to do just post some screenshots so we can guide you.

    that was a long shot, since I don't have vista here, but I have used it and edited my bootloader using these steps that I described.
