I'm really sorry to say, I just purchased a Dell 640m. I got a really good deal on an open box and decided it suits my short term business needs more than my number one favorite notebook manufacturer.

I'm really sorry to everyone for not supporting what is obviously the best!

If it's any consolation, I fully intend to get either a W3J or R1F once business picks up and money is no longer an issue. I've even convinced my business partner to get the R2H instead of this piece of garbage flybook that he's been talking about for ages.

I've got too much love for the company and the people of this forum to go out like a chump with a dell. I'll be back in a couple months to pimp a nice Asus with the Santa Rosa platform!

    TTYL!

    LoL!!!

Can you please slap me... I hope it's just a dream!

Take a look at this deal though... http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=96914

I don't think anyone could convince me that a T7200 with 1.5gig ram and a 160gig HD for $1400CAD including tax is a bad deal.

That is a good deal. Just use, abuse, and take her for granted... because we all know your true love is Asus :)

I don't think I could abuse any notebook... even a dell. Besides, I plan to sell it later to subsidize the purchase of an oh so beautiful Asus.

With the specs I got in the dell, I might even be able to sell it at a profit! Hopefully it's in good condition. It is open box after all...

Since I live in the same city as you, Mikeoo17, I'm going to come over and slap you personally :D Haha just kidding!

That Dell is a really good deal. Too bad that you have to "dump" Asus for the while being, but return to the "good side" soon!

    agreed.

dude, Dell is the IT whore of Texas, and their CEO is just an overglorified Madam. I would know, I live in Austin.

lol. too much to work with there...
