This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    To everyone here at Notebook Review, PROPortable wants to wish you and yours Happy Holidays and a prosperous New Year.

    Once again we have had record growth in 2005, and it would not have been possible without members like you (without sounding too much like a PBS donation drive). Because of you we were able to set up the NBR Member Discount Program in Q3 and hope to be able to help more people with their computing futures in the year to come.

    There are some big changes coming to PROPortable in the year ahead as well as with Asus both internally and with the next generation of their Ensemble and Built-on notebook lines. We encourage you to follow along as it's going to be one heck of a ride.

    As one of the noobies here, and a recent purchaser of an Asus W5ae from Proportable, Thank You, for being as open and honest in a public venue. It would be no secret to say that when purchasing a new laptop, multiple opinions weigh heavily in my decisions, and the service and free advice from Justin and Proportable has been outstanding!
