    That and money is kinda tight right now. Anybody know when they might come out with that lappy's replacement?

    Check out the specs on the M9V on ASUS's global website. Do I know you by the way? Did you go to UC Davis? I know someone from there who had that as their AIM handle.

    I doubt there will be a refresh, perhaps a faster processor but thats all..

    Prices will go down...soon enough..

    Yes that's my AIM handle and yes I was at UC Davis until about a year ago. The Jerry I think you'd be would probably be in Texas, so I have no idea but hit me up!

    Ah cool maybe I'll wait for some cheaper prices. I would also LOVE an x700 in there instead!

    I know it's kinda far off in to the future, but does anybody think there will be a refresh with the new yonah cpu or will they just make a whole new laptop? I love everything about the W3V, but I don't need a laptop until next summer, so I'd rather have the best, especially if it will be possible to upgrade from yonah to merom when it's released.

    If you can wait, then wait. Technology moves along at a furious pace, both in notebooks and desktops, and what will be available in summer 2006 will far exceed all the uber expensive offerings of today. I would think that you'd be kicking yourself come then if you bought something now.
