I'm guessing you mean without wires(wireless) if your setting up your router
Make sure your laptop is in range and wireless is turned on
In the bottom-right corner there is a icon with that looks like a computer screen
Hover over that and right-click
From the menu that pops up choose Connect to a network
A list of available wireless networks will appear
Right-click on your network and click properties from that menu
This will open a security page to enter your network password..
Hope this helps.. -
I see 2 computers, it's local network.
No, i mean exactly with wires. I want to go to net wireless but I don't know where I need to enter password and network name.... I'm ing with my router a month!!!!! please help me... >_< -
Sorry, i just cant understand your problem exactly..
Ok you have a router with an Ethernet cable connected to it??
Have you a wireless network set-up??
Or have you the Ethernet cable plugged into the laptop directly?? -
I think you are asking how to set up your router? It may depend on your model, but on my Netgear I connect the router to my laptop with an Ethernet cable. Then on the bottom of the router there is a URL address that I type into my browser and it brings me to the configuration pages in my browser. Other routers may require a program on a CD that comes with the router.
I've got a problem with WIFI
