So I bought a G52SW and a warranty to come with it.

I was thinking of adding a stick of RAM and adding an SSD Drive and putting the OS on it. From what I understand if I do that then I can't touch the partitioned OS on the drive it came with or I will void the warranty. Is this correct?

Is there a way to add more RAM and have the SSD drive as my OS boot drive and not void the warranty?

Sweet, So I have the G53SW-XN1 and want to add a single 4GB stick of ram and a decent sized SSD drive. Any suggestions?

    I saw this...
    Newegg.com - Crucial 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500) Laptop Memory Model CT2KIT51264BC1067

    and

    ]Crucial Technology 128GB m4 SSD 2.5" Solid CT128M4SSD2 B&H

BUT I only want one 4GB stick.....unless I can put in both without any hassle....I've watched some videos on what to do BUT I can't remember if I can stick 2 ram sticks into the computer easily....

Well you still need to disassemble it to put in the ssd anyway so that wouldnt be much of a problem. Look for a 8gb 2x4 pair of cossair or some other brand that i cant remember on newegg. Its on sale for $38 and you got extra $10 off after rebate. I would have bought it if not for this new laptop i just got.

Choose the crucial M4 line with as much storage as you are able. I just saw a chart comparing ssds and well, my m4 256gb is on top with 1004 pts.
