removing the Asus Turbo Gear Extreme Overclocking program. On my G71 I noticed that having this program installed caused my power plan to reset back to standard after every reboot and it caused my Nvidia Tools to not allow my gpu clocks to start per my config profile. I also noticed that having it enabled caused me to have lower benchmarks and FPS in every game. And last but not least, I noticed that it caused me to have BSOD(Critical Kernel Error) and memory dumps that would result in a restart out of no where atleast 4 times a day. Since removing this program that has 2 programs installed to function I have been BSOD/Memory Dump free for the last 2 weeks!!!

    Claps...Applauds.....and bows!!!!! Yehaa!!!

If this works for you great!! If it doesn't I wish you the best!!
